III FREE JOMO KENYATTA!
The elections which British Imperialism was oblige.l to concede in Kenya not withstanding their complica:ed mechanism, aimed at maintaining colonial domination, and at beneficting the most conciliatory African leaders, have shown one fact:
Unanimously, the African masses, the smashing majority of the country, have repeated once again, in the elaitoral campaign and in the election itself, its demand: Freedom for Jomo Kenyatta! All the parties, even those which represeni the European colonialists, recognised Kenyatta as the present undisputed leader of the inasses of
Nevertheless, British Imperialism keeps Kenyalta confined, and attempts to organise collaboration with the most conciliatory of the African leaders. British Imperialism fears the impulse that Kenyatta's liberation will give 10 the revolution in Kenya and all East Africa.
popular pressure for Kenyatta's liberation and for the full right of self-determination and independence for Kenya has obliged the African leaders to interrupt discussions with the representatives of the British Government, till the moment Jomo Kenyatta is liberated.
The Fourth International supports without reservation the unanimous demand of the masses of Kenya and all East Africa:
Freedom for Jomo Kenyatta! Unconditionai freedom for Kenyatta and all the African leaders and organisations of Kenya. Full self-determination and independence the peoples of Kenya. British Imperialism must get out of all Africa!
Kenyatta's liberation will be the signal for a new and big step forward of the revolution East Africa. It will be the conquest of one of the deepestfelt demands of the Kenyan people, who up to this moment have been the victims of an atrocious history of repre istortures, spoliation and sacking by British Imperia!be a blow to the conciliatory and pr.Western Africa leaderships who are trying to put a brake on the revolutionary process.
The Fourth International calls on the African masses, all the workers of the colonial and semi-colonial countries, on their trade-unions, on anti-imperialist and popular organisations, on the anti-imperialist and workers parties of Africa, Asia, Latin America and the rest of the world to support the struggles of the people of Kenya by declarations of support, demonstrations, mobilizations and concrete actions, and to demand:
Jomo Kenyatta!
Kick out Imperialism from Kenya and all Africa!
